Back to the mASS

27 Jan

He’s BAAAACK.

After a long hiatus, im finally back at Amherst College. I show them so much love while Im gone, but not I have to get physical. We have been in this relationship for several years, so if we dont get physical now, I might lose her… lmao…

With that, I will be on a consistent schedule, maybe even posting daily again. This is the experiment. Not being in as bustling of a place as a Paris, A frisco, A NYC. How will he keep the blog going. I have notice that so many ppls blog go down, but that really wasnt the pt of this thing, its a means of my personal expression, and that never ends…

Anywho, We took my sister out for her bday the other day, crazy how fast these kids grow up. She looks like a lil hooper already. but thats the end of the holidays, a jan bday. have a look at my beautiful city. I LOVE IT

Yeas, in the hometown. I was back in Frisco and it was marvelous. This post is cool cause I watched this restaurant grow.

Back in the day, prolly 10 years ago almost by now. Shit. That’s a long time. But yea, back then the Slanted Door was a nice Vietnamese spot on Valencia. Cut from the modern mold, as many restaurants do now. I used to order take out like once a week or so. Imperial rolls n these snap peas with chicken n shitake mushrooms. Popular.

Now, they moved to the ferry building. And have a month long waiting list. Wowzers.

Either way, the food is still great n then drinks. I couldn’t drink back then but it doesn’t get better the. A whiskey cocktail with a hand cut ice cube. Let’s get it.

They even have nice lights. Lmao

Living on just abt 16th n Bryant, I had only been down to the intersection of 16th and 3rd a few times. This was probably cause i seldom make it out to Giants games, either because I don’t have time or I don’t have free tickets (excuse me for being a tight booty). Ha Either way, the first time I happened upon the site for the new UCSF campus was a rather lengthy ordeal, so I guess ill break it down for ya’ll.

See, what had happened was, I was fissina see my bruh HousHous right…. and this man was at PACbell park right… jk

Anyways, my friend from High School was over at Pac Bell, getting out of a Giants game. the Problem was that not only was he from El Cerrito (shout out to big Drew Gooden and the dreaded beard) but he also has the worst sense of direction. Ever. He was supposed to pick my brother and I up. This was around 8. We ended up ealking towards the park, since he was taking quite some time.

Next thing I know, it’s 1130 and I had walked all the was down to third, past the ballpark and all the was down embarcadero to fisherman’s wharf. POSSibly the longest walk of my life, def within the city. I should have gotten a sponsor and donated my money to breast cancer.

So, on my illustrious and epic journey, one that culminated in my first Cheesecake Factory experience, I passed by the intersection of 16th and 3rd and the then newly created T line.

Monday, quite a few weeks ago by now, I had the privilege of checkin out the fitness center since my brothers hoop team had practice there. Ridiculous. Modern, outdoor and indoor pools. Outdoor climbing rock. Squash. Basketball. Everything. They even had a putting green. Sorry 24. I want a membership there for the summer. Halla
