I am rude boy at heart, first gen (no not the ipod) Guyanese American. For those who dont know Guyana is north of Brazil in South America and entirely an island nation.

As a youngin, around 12, I went down to Guyana after my gramps died and ended up being the only kid in my immediate fam to not only make it down there so far but also to see my grandma b4 she passed. The trip was crazy. Being in the third world put my privilege in true perspective. To start, I didnt eat anything cept cheese poofs for 4 days until i found a Chinese joint as i mentioned in my post Asian-Latinos. But in the mind of my Caribbean roots, when i went down there i came back with some serious soca slaps, that serious Bryon Lee n the Dragonaires.
In the same light, since then i have had a love for carribean music, soca reggae, all that heat. it is in that vain that i share this nice bob poem on How To Love a Woman. If know know me, you know im all about the love when it comes to women. They are the best, dey da dey da best…. (only cause the Drake vid just dropped i wont post it cause everyone is, if u havent seen it ur not hip enough to dip).
