Lithium-Air Cars

30 Sep

This is vision for the future. What do we do with the near 2 Billion cars on the road? the traffic is bad enough but the real problem is the emissions. If you do not want to be in a room with one person farting, how many cars can fart to make the planet undesirable? I know this is throwback from my nerdy chem days but that guy still lives in me and to be quite frank, this is way cooler then the new thom browne collection…

Arguably the most influential and forward thinking bruh to come out of the hip hop world, the Pac legacy will never die. Like Hov said, “and as the father passed his story down to his sons ears,/
young will get younger every year, yeah”. We all better be spittin Pac in the ears of every youngin we see.

These vids are from a lost interview Pac did with Vibe back in ’96. His mind was so far ahead, the thought “If god gives me breath for 20 more years I see myself changing the world because my thought patterns are so opposite the norm”. The only way to stop a mind like Pacs is the way they did it, whoever it was. He is the exemplar of saying what you mean and meaning what you say, no matter the consequence. We can look back in hindsight and say that we do not want his fate but Ill bet my last dollar that when he died he knew he lived everyday to the fullest and as the truest version of his own self that he could be.

But as soon as he got on his West Coast, ppl are up in arms.

In the end, as one, I know a bay cat when I see one and the bay runs all through him. He was perpetually caught between his ambition and a burning fire fueled by the wrongs he saw around him, be it attacks from his enemies, his society or even his supposed friends. Its laudable that he was able to do all he did in his short years, put out albums in a filtered market and still get such a powerful message out there. In the clip he talks about mastering the Art of War. What other thugs you know can tell you anything about Sun Tzu. If you want to talk about building blocks for a community, Pac invented Duplo and Lincoln Logs. Point Blank.

Back into Focus…

21 Sep

As you prolly know i have made my way back out east for my last year of college. Coming back out here is a trip. its a small town and things stay pretty much the way you leave them. funny enough, I have been on my computer as usual, but in some way I had lost touch with my summer, the days and nights of the city and my work at tha Giant. Its interesting how quickly i can get caught in the daily and lose myself. For all those who met me, who helped me, who guided, Thank You. to the Future, my eyes are always open, even in my sleep….

Lookin’ Good: Casino

17 Sep

Impeccable style. I always appreciate the appeal of a bad boy in gentlemanly clothing. Casino embodies this scenario wholeheartedly. When you see Deniro, his suav appeal is calming, almost to the point where you want to be ignorant of his brassknuckle way of handling business. He has just enough stank in his suits that you know to stay in line, but not enough to dissuade you from trusting him with your wallet. As i maintain, more important than the suit itself is the fit. A well tailored trouser shows class as well as sophistication. An attn to Dtail. At the end of the day, there are a limited number of different articles one could actually wear. Putting together a good combination of said articles could result in a few cursor glances, maybe a compliment or two. But to truly make urself as well dress, to impress those who know, takes a specific attention to detail. Is the pocket sq properly folded? What type of knot did he use on his tie with what type of collar? Do the pants fit? Thats the creme de la…. impressing those who dont kno is easy, impressing those who do takes subtlety.
