This is a month in the making at least but I have been caught up in finals and what not. But honest, every once in a while you meet someone that sparks that critical limit of interest, someone you know is on a path to make serious moves. Thats how it went with Aaron. I was down in lalaLand at a party at this sneaker boutique El Mercado and I ran into him. As it turns out, he was bruhs with one of my boys over at the BKcircus, young ChaseMane.
I asked him to break down his perspective in three sentences. With some poetic license, and a little more than three, he said this:
“I am a poet- I try to tell the truth about the human condition, the truth as I see it. Furthermore, my goal is to shed light on the world in an attempt to bring the human race out of darkness. I create art for a higher power, and I am to be used as a vessel- a mere shell for God to use for a greater purpose. It is my hope that through my art I will touch someone, and in turn their light will shine brighter.”
