Simply put, great advertising. Everyones wish is to play with their idols, the professionals they see on TV. No matter the sport, no matter the field (well sometimes people arent on tv in certain fields but you know what I mean). Pepsi put Kyrie Irving in the game, and “hid” it as well. It was just fun to watch, though, admittedly, he can work on the acting a bit.

Say what you want about google compiling information about everyone, they do do some pretty amazing things. The car driving by itself is a feat enough, but making it safe enough for a blind driver is ridiculous. Granted, its not on the highway or in traffic, but this is an amazing step towards Demolition Man.

I mean, its not even a soccer game, its hoops. I have been to quite a few basketball games, a few state championships (one of which I played in), but I have never seen anything like this. I watch NBA playoff games and I still dont think the crowd is as into the game. Maybe we are too apathetic but this is really mind blow. Imagine how it feels to be on that court. Damn.

Scientists are considering creating a new era, the Anthropocene Era, defined as the era humans grew to have an influence on the development of the earth. As you watch this video, which shows all the major roads and trade roots we have developed, I am not sure how you should feel. Part of me is amazed at our ability to get everywhere and see everything, and part of me sees a disease moving across the planet. The latter is rather hypocritical being the urbanite that I am but i cant help but wonder what will happen when this club reaches capacity.

This is an interesting view on the effects of Internet Porn, and those addicted to it. Layer the issues with porn on top of the social problems with it (interracial porn only being black and white, the fetishizing of specific types of people/sex etc) and you have the makings of some real issues. My knee jerk issue with porn is that it greatly skews the way you are expected to have sex. Peak performance does not look, feel or sound like sex in porn but is something intimate, personal and loving. More and more young men find themselves in the bedroom trying to reenact what they see in porn, the same way a hooper wants to euro step like dwade on the court. Only issue being, the latter will make your game better and the former will probably get you slapped. Combine that with these findings about how porn is rewiring peoples brains and we are really in for it. Wilson says that Internet porn use leads to ADHD, social anxiety, erectile dysfunction, DEPRESSION and MEMORY IMPAIRMENT among other things. Sounds like a perpetual cycle to me. Watch more porn, get less girls, so you watch more porn and get worse and interacting with girls. YIKES.

PS: the guy in the example went from dropping out of 2 colleges and getting fired from 3 jobs and taking hella ADD meds and anti Depression meds to being a chick magnet, just off of stopping porn use. WOW

Crazy, these cats up in the Netherlands have hella time on their hands. They figured out how to fly like a bird, literally. I just want to know if they are gonna make a flap motion treadmill to get your flight stamina up.

although i agree with what they are saying in essence, this is a vast oversimplification. I think it has much more to do with our perceptions of people in certain locales and also the type of music you are talking about. Yes, Bache is beautiful, and that violin is great but if someone does not have the ear for that in the amount of time alotted (ie as they pass) they wont stop, and they are in rush hour thinking about something else. if it was a song the average person recognized or an artist the average person would recognize this experiment would have a completely different result. This is more a refection on what we prioritize in modern culture. If it was a face, like kanye, many more ppl would stop, at least a critical mass of people for ppl to realize they should see what the crowd is about.

This is a reality. Listen to what is being said. This is a fear that a large number of Americans live with everyday, that at any turn, be them culpable or not, they could be bound and beaten. Its one thing to show your toughness in a fair fight but its another to tie someone up and then start to stomp them out when they are defenseless. Its not acceptable to beat a woman or a child because its an unfair size advantage, which is the same thing as beating someone defenseless, worse off if you are the one who bound them in the first place.
